try recording onto a 'Music' (consumer) type blank disc because they are specially designed for 1X speed audio recording

If using 80 minute discs, try a 74 minute disc because they provide a wider recording area and thus have a less chance for error

CD-Text appears on CD-Player but not on CD-Recorder

the CD-Recorder drive does not display the CD-Text on “hybrid” CDs that contain audio and data together on the disc.
