In normal use the power amplifier can be left switched on at the back panel. The signal sense circuitry automatically switches the power amplifier to standby after a few minutes if no input signal is present, and the front panel indicator changes from green to red.

The sensitivity adjustment control on the back panel allows you to adjust the signal sensing threshold. Normally this should be at maximum sensitivity. Only back this off if the amplifiers regularly get powered up by interference or noises in the system.

Should you wish to bypass the signal sense circuit an internal link can be fitted which forces the amplifier to power up as long as mains power is applied. Please consult your retailer if you wish this to be done.
