SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT BATTERIES

Fresh alkaline batteries will work for about 8 hours of continuous play.

If your set does not switch tracks or shuts down by itself, this means your batteries are weak and cannot supply enough current.

Either replace both batteries with fresh alkaline batteries or use the AC Adaptor (or car cord).

This set has a built-in Low Battery indicator. When this symbol “ ” shows in your Display, both batteries need to be replaced (the batteries may still have some life in them, but too low for use by a CD player).

NOTE: You may use rechargeable batteries on this set. However, because rechargeable batteries generally have lower voltage (1.2 volts instead of 1.5 volts). Your playing time will be much less than normal fresh alkaline batteries.
