OPERATING THE MOWER
Continued Starting - Step 1
4.Hold the handlebar together with the engine stop lever, place your foot on the deck and tilt the mower towards you.
This will take the load off the engine making it easier to start. Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull briskly.
Return the starter grip gently.
Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
6.If the choke lever was moved to the CLOSED position to start the engine, gradually move it to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.
