For optimum signal reception,mount the antennawith a 360o vieri of the sky so that it can have line - of - sight tracking o1'thc satellites .Prcvcnt oblects such as poles . rails . other antennasand large cables from obstructing the view between the GPS antennaand the satellites .

Care must alsclbe taken in choosing a mounting location u'herc radar beams or communicatior - rstransrnitterbcants WILL NOT be directed towards the GPS antenna .

Mount the antennaon a level surface .such as a cabin top . or on a standardmarine antennaextension pole . Use of a standardmarine antennamount with l - inch threads is required to complete the

i n s t a l l a t i o n .
