CCreative Auto Shooting

Unlike the <1> Full Auto mode where the camera sets everything, the <C> Creative Auto mode enables you to easily change the depth of field, drive mode, and flash firing.

You can also choose the ambience you want to convey in your images. The default setting is the same as the <1> (Full Auto) mode.

* CA stands for Creative Auto.

Set the Mode Dial to <C>.

Press the <Q> button. (7)

XThe Quick Control screen will appear.

Set the desired function.

Press the <V> key to select a function.

XThe selected function and Feature guide (p.47) will be displayed.

For details on setting each function, see pages 56-57.

4 Take the picture.

Press the shutter button completely to take the picture.

If you change the shooting mode or turn the power switch to <2>, the function you have set on this screen will revert to the default setting. However, the self-timer setting will be retained.
