4.11 HDMI Black Level

If you use the product by connecting to a DVD player or set-top box with a DVI cable, the contrast and color may degrade and the picture may be darker. If this is the case, correct the degraded picture quality using HDMI Black Level. (Normal/Low)

This option is available when a source device that has an HDMI port is connected and the input source

is set to DVI.

4.11.1 Configuring the HDMI Black Level Settings

This product can only be controlled by using the remote control.

1Press MENU on the remote control.

2Press / to move to Picture and press [].

3Press / to move to HDMI Black Level and press []. The following screen will appear.

￿Normal: Set the brightness (darkness) of the darkest parts of the screen to Normal.

￿Low: Set the brightness (darkness) of the darkest parts of the screen to be brighter than Normal.

4Press / to move to the option you want and press [ ]. The selected option will be applied.
