ABOUT THIS GUIDE
This guide provides all the information you need to install and use a
SuperStack® II Switch 3300 FX u nit with default settings. If you want to
change the way the Switch works u sing management software, refer to
the “SuperStack II Switch Management Guide” (part number
DUA1695-0BAA0x).
The guide is intended for use by networ k administrators who are
responsible for installing and setting up network e quipment;
consequently, it assumes a basic working knowledge of LANs (Loc al Area
Networks).
If the information in the Release Note s shipped with your product differs
from the informa tion in this guide, fol low the Release Note s.
Throughout this guide, the SuperStack II Switch 3300 FX is referred to as
the Switch.
