Troubleshooting

Disconnect electrical power and make sure preheater has cooled to room temperature before servicing. Failure to disconnect electrical power or failure to allow preheater to

cool before servicing may cause electrical shock or burns. Read user’s manual

before servicing.

Important

Service on this preheater should only be performed by a qualified electrician or service person.

1.Unplug unit from electrical service.

2.Check outlet. If no power, contact qualified electrician or service person. If outlet has power, plug the preheater into electrical service and proceed to next step.

3.Check to make certain the power cord is properly connected in the rear of the preheater.

4.a. If preheater fails to heat when ON-OFF switch is depressed in the upper position, replace the “High Temperature Thermostat/TCO” with replacement part #62-9865-9938-9.

4.b. If preheater fails to heat when ON-OFF switch is depressed in the down position, replace the “Low Temperature Thermostat/TCO” with replacements part #62-9845-9990-2.
