11.5 Special Set-Up Procedure for Outer Column Re-Positioning
Moving the outer columns up one set of mounting holes increases the maximum box height handled by the 700a
case sealer and decreases the minimum conveyor bed height.
1 - Place solid blocks approx. 305mm high at the front and rear of the upper taping head assembly as shown in
Figure 11-7A.
2 - Crank the upper taping head assembly down until it touches these blocks.
3 - Remove and retain the six screws and plain washers that fasten each column to the frame (Figure 11-7B).
4 - Turn the height adjustment crank clockwise to raise the outer columns up one set of mounting holes (100mm).
5 - Install and tighten the six screws and plain washers in each column. Crank upper taping head assembly up
and remove blocks.
