b. 3M product is designed to operate in the t ypical indoor environm ent. This warranty d oes not
cover 3M product used outside of the fol lowing circumstances :
• 100V–240V AC, 50/60 Hz • 10˚–30˚C (50˚–86 ˚F)• 10–80% RH (without condensation ) • 0–1829 m (0–6000 feet) a bove sea level
c. The air intake and exhaust vent must be cl ear of obstructions. I nadequate air ventilation w ill
cause the 3M product to malfunction o r will cause damage to the 3M pro duct which will void the
warranty.
d. This warranty does not cover any addi tional costs including, b ut not limited to, those asso ciated
with removal, cleaning or installation of t he 3M product, adjustme nts, (mechanical or el ectronic)
made to the 3M product.
e. This warranty covers only norma l use of the product. 24-hour-pe r-day or other excessive
continual use causes strain and is not con sidered normal use.
f. This warrant y does not cover consumabl es (e.g., batteries ).
g. This warranty is not transferable .
h. 3M is not responsible for warranty se rvice should the 3M lab el or logo or the rating label or
serial number be removed unless otherw ise stated in writing for th e purposes of private labe ling
for partnership requirements.
i. This warr anty does not cover pos tage, insurance, or shipping c osts incurred in present ing your
3M product for warranty servi ce. Said costs are the cus tomer’s responsibility. If a cl aimed defect
cannot be identified or reproduced in s ervice, the customer may b e held responsible for cos t
incurred. Should your warranty upgr ade include a “change out” se rvice and the claimed defe ct
cannot be identified or reproduced by t he technician, the custome r will be responsible for call
out costs.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE INST RUCTIONS CONTAIN ED IN THE APPROPRI ATE 3M PRODUCT
MANUAL OR TO USE THE 3M PRODU CT IN ACCORDANCE WI TH 3M’S INTENDED US E
STATEMENT, WILL VOID ALL WARRANT IES AND LIMITED RE MEDIES.
