Completing Installation
Before you reassemble your computer, be sure that
■The host adapter is firmly seated and secured in the slot
■The devices on each SCSI bus are properly terminated
■Each SCSI device on the SCSI bus has a unique SCSI ID
■Internal and external SCSI devices are firmly connect ed to the
host adapter, and pin-1 orientation is correct
■Only one floppy controller is enabled (AHA-1522A only)
Many computers have floppy controllers on the motherboard
or on a non-SCSI controller.
Follow these steps to complete installation:
1Replace and secure the cover of the computer cas e.
2Reconnect the power cords to all external SC SI devices and the
computer.
3Turn ON the power to all devices.
4Boot the computer.
See Chapter 5, Troubleshooting, if you encounter any problems during
installation.
