3.2 Power supplyThe power supply provides 250 watts and m eets UL, CSA and TUV stan-
dards. To repair it, you must slide out the work drawer.
1. Switch off the power, and detach the main power cord.
2. Detach the work drawer from the AWS-8248 unit.
(See Fig. 2-1.)
3. Slide the work drawer out as far as it will go.
4. Detach the P8 and P9 power connectors by pulling them down.
5. Remove the four screws at the rear of the work drawer. Pull down
the power supply assembly using the handle.
(See Fig. 3-2.)
6. Remove the four screws at the rear of the power supply holding
plate.
7. Detach the power supply and replace it.
