Washing Only

Measure out the detergent and the fabric softener

Your new appliance was designed to reduce water, energy and detergent consumption.

1.Pull out the dispenser drawer until it stops. Measure out the amount of de- tergent required, pour it into the main wash compartment and, if you wish to carry out the prewash phase or to

perform the stain function, pour the detergent or the stain remover into the

compartment marked .

2.If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment marked (the amount used must not exceed the MAX mark in

the drawer). Close the drawer gently.

Select the required programme by turning the programme selector dial (1)

You can choose the right programme for any type of laundry following the descriptions on the washing programme tables (see «Washing Programmes»).

Turn the programme selector dial to the required programme. The programme selector de- termines the type of washing cycle (e.g. water level, drum movement, number of rinses) and the washing temperature according to the type of laundry.

By selecting a programme, the programme progress indicator symbols and the symbol cor- responding to the drying degree allowed by the set programme appear on the display.

The pilot light of button 7 starts blinking and the display shows the duration of the selected programme.

The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise.

Position corresponds to a cold wash, the position to Reset programme/ Switching OFF of the machine.

At the end of the programme the selector dial must be turned to position , to switch the machine off.
