OPERATION:

OPERATION:

1.When a sub station places a call, the "Call Placed/Call Answered" LED on the sub station will flash, and a repetitive tone will be heard.

2.When the call is answered, the "Call Placed/Call Answered" LED on the sub station changes states from flashing to steady. The repetitive tone stops.

3.When the master station terminates the call, the “Call Placed/Call Answered” LED will extinguish.

4.The open collector output will provide a closure when a call has been placed and remain closed until the call is terminated.

BRAILLE SIGNAGE:

The AI-NVP-RA is equipped with Braille signage for the visually impaired.

ON TOP OF UNIT:

EMERGENCY

"EMERGENCY - CALL FOR HELP"

ON BOTTOM OF UNIT:

"PUSH BUTTON. TONE INDICATES CALL PLACED."

Plating material is .012" aluminum with 5 letter spacing.

Single pole, single throw (SPST), normally open (N/O)

11 gauge carbon steel with powder-coated white baked epoxy finish

Call Annunciation:

Pressing call button at sub calls assigned AI-MS900 master station

Communication:

Hands free at sub. Master is push-to-talk or VOX handset.

Open Collector Output:

24V DC, 30mA

Tamper proof screws

Terminations:

Color-coded pre-wired pigtails

Wiring:

2-conductor, shielded wire is homerun to AI-900RS card, shield is used as 3rd conductor

 

Shielded wire is required.

 

Use Aiphone series wire 822202, or 821802

Wiring Distance:

2,625' with 22 AWG; 4,265' with 18 AWG.
