C 4500B-BC specifications

The AKG Acoustics C 4500B-BC is a professional-grade dynamic microphone designed primarily for live sound applications, but its versatility makes it a favorite among recording engineers as well. Renowned for its exceptional performance and reliability, the C 4500B-BC caters to vocalists and instrumentalists alike, making it a staple in both studio and stage environments.

One of the standout features of the C 4500B-BC is its cardioid polar pattern, which ensures that the microphone picks up sound primarily from the front while rejecting ambient noise and feedback from the sides and rear. This characteristic is vital in live settings where multiple sound sources may compete for attention. The result is a clearer and more focused sound, allowing for optimal vocal presentation without the interference of unwanted background noise.

The C 4500B-BC is equipped with AKG's innovative capsule design, which includes a high-performance dynamic transducer. This technology enables the microphone to handle high sound pressure levels with ease, making it an ideal choice for loud performances, whether in a rock concert or a theatrical production. The frequency response of the microphone is finely tuned to enhance the clarity of the vocals, ensuring that nuances in the voice are captured accurately.

Another key feature of the C 4500B-BC is its rugged construction. Built to withstand the rigors of touring and extensive use, this microphone is designed with durability in mind. Its robust metal housing and reinforced grille provide protection against physical impacts, making it an optimal choice for musicians on the road.

Moreover, the C 4500B-BC features a low feedback design that further enhances its performance in live settings. This technology minimizes the risk of feedback loops, a common challenge for live sound engineers. As a result, performers can move around freely without fear of compromising sound quality.

In conclusion, the AKG Acoustics C 4500B-BC is a dynamic microphone that embodies a blend of advanced technology, durability, and exceptional acoustic performance. With its cardioid polar pattern, high SPL handling, and rugged construction, it is an ideal choice for both live and recording applications. Whether for professional singers, public speakers, or instrumentalists, the C 4500B-BC promises to deliver reliable sound quality that meets the demands of modern audio environments.
