Assembly of Moldboard to Mainframe

The Rhino 800 Blade is shipped from the factory assembled except for the Moldboard. Optional 7” or 8” Moldboards are attached to the Index Plate by two 5/8” bolts in the top two mounting holes and two 5/8” nuts through the lower holes of the Index Plate. Torque bolts as required by chart on page

10.There is no further assembly required for the basic unit.

Extra Equipment

End Plates - Bulk material such as dirt, snow, sand, or gravel can be moved by using End Plates. They are easily attached by three "Klik" Pins.

Skid Shoes - To increase Blade life and prevent gouging, adjustable Skid Shoes are available. Attach one on each end of Moldboard using two 5/ 8” x 3" plow bolts. Install plow bolts using top lock nut, hardened washer & nut supplied with mold board. Install one hardened flatwasher per bolt, the skid shoe, then one more hardened flatwasher and the locknuts. Skid shoe will be offset from Moldboard. Tighten securely.
