AT-AR027 specifications

Allied Telesis has established a robust reputation in the networking industry, and the AT-AR027 series exemplifies this commitment to quality and innovation. The AT-AR027 is a versatile and high-performing router designed specifically for small to medium-sized enterprises, offering a range of features to enhance network performance and security.

One of the standout features of the AT-AR027 is its dual WAN capability, which allows for multiple internet connections. This functionality not only provides load balancing but also facilitates failover support. In the event of a primary connection failure, traffic can seamlessly switch to the backup link, ensuring uninterrupted internet access—a crucial aspect for businesses that rely on a constant online presence.

With a robust set of VLAN capabilities, the AT-AR027 enables organizations to segment their networks efficiently, enhancing security and performance. By using Virtual Local Area Networks, IT administrators can create isolated zones for various departments or functions within the company, reducing congestion and minimizing the risk of sensitive data breaches.

The router is equipped with advanced firewall features, including stateful packet inspection and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS). These security measures provide an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access and potential network threats, safeguarding valuable business data.

In terms of performance, the AT-AR027 boasts impressive throughput levels, ensuring that both local and wide area network activities run smoothly. This is particularly important for businesses that use bandwidth-intensive applications such as video conferencing or large file transfers.

Moreover, the AT-AR027 supports various VPN protocols, allowing for secure remote access for employees working from home or satellite offices. This feature is increasingly vital in today’s work environment, where remote working has become the norm.

User-friendly management is another key characteristic of the AT-AR027. The router includes a web-based interface, as well as a command-line interface (CLI) for advanced users seeking deeper configuration and monitoring capabilities. Network administrators will appreciate the ease with which they can configure settings, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues.

In conclusion, the Allied Telesis AT-AR027 router combines reliability, security, and performance in a compact design, making it an ideal networking solution for small to medium-sized enterprises. Its dual WAN capabilities, advanced security measures, and user-friendly management interface position it as a significant asset for businesses aiming to enhance their network infrastructure in a cost-effective manner.
