When “PL II MUSIC [Dolby PL II MUSIC]” is selected, various other settings can be made, as described below.

Center width adjustment (CENTER WIDTH)

The vocal position between the center speaker and the L/R speaker can be optimized.

1 In PCM OUT MODE, press 1 () or 5 ( ), select “Dolby PL II [Dolby Pro Logic II]”, then press 2 (ENT).

2 Press 1 () or 5 ( ), select “CENTER WIDTH [Center Width]”, then press 2 (ENT).

3 Press 1 () or 5 ( ), select “MODE ON/OFF [Center Width ON/OFF]”.

4 When OFF, press 1 () after pressing 2 (ENT) to switch ON.

To switch from ON to OFF, press 5 ( ) after pressing 2 (ENT).

With this setting ON, the vocal position between the center speaker and the L/R speaker can be optimized.

5 Press 1 () or 5 ( ), select “LEVEL [Level]”, then press 2 (ENT).

6 Press 1 () or 5 ( ), select the level to be adjusted, then press 6 (RTN).

The level can be adjusted between 0 to 7. Increasing the level causes the center stage position to move away from the center speaker towards the Left and Right speakers.
