5. STOPPING PLAYBACK
Stopping playback will stop the drive mechanism allowing you to safely
remove the CD from the transport drive. Pressing the STOP BUTTON (1)
during any function will immediately stop the unit.
6. PAUSING
Pausing temporarily stops playback but does not stop the drive mecha-
nism. Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (8) changes the operating mode
between play and pause. The PAUSE INDICATOR (7 & 34) will glow when
pause mode is activated or when a track is in cue mode.

7. FRAME SEARCH/SETTING CUE POINTS

This feature allows you to search through a track to set a cue or the begin-
ning of a loop point. To use the search function you must first be in Pause
or Cue mode. Once you are in Pause or Cue mode, use your finger to tap
on either the FORWARD SEARCH/SCAN BUTTON (13) or the REVERSE
SEARCH/SCAN BUTTON (12) depending on which direction you want to
search (figure 9). Holding down on the button will increase the speed the
search function will scan. Once you reach your desired starting point you
can set a cue (starting) point by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (19)
as in figure 9. Pressing the CUE BUTTON (6) will return the disc to the cue
point just set.
