POST INSTALLATION CLEAN-UP

Mount the drain assembly to the sink. Be certain to apply a bead of sealing putty on the underside of the drain (area "A") in order to ensure a watertight seal between the sink and drain. Remove excess putty.

Install the sink on the granite top using sealant. Add or remove excess compound around the base of sink rim. Form fillet the sealant with wet finger or sponge.

SEALANT

After installing the sink, connect the trap to the drain assembly and hand tighten to check alignment. It may be necessary to cut off part of the tailpiece (area "A") or part of the horizontal leg of the trap (area "B").

POST INSTALLATION CLEAN-UP

Remove all construction debris from the sink and console top. Do not use wire brushes or any other metal implement on sink and console top surfaces. Post installation clean-up generally can be completed using warm water and liquid dishwashing detergent. Stubborn dirt or stains may be removed using franular Spic and Span® mixed with water. Painter's naphtha can be used to remove excess adhesives and/or wet oil-base paint.

Care and Cleaning of the Console Table

Clean the product by using soft, slightly damp cloth. Buff the product by using a soft dry cloth. Avoid using silicone cleaners and waxes.

Clean up excess water and spills immediately. Use a blotting rather than a wiping action. Water left over a long period of time will cause white spots in the finish.

NOTE: Please note that some chemicals may damage the finish. Take care to avoid the following: iodine, hair dye, after shave lotion, shaving cream, alcohol, perfume, Lestoil® , Lysol Tub and Tile Cleaner® , Lysol Spray Disinfectant® , Dow Disinfectant® , acetone, paint remover, Formula 409® , Tile-X® , and Nair® .

Care and Cleaning of the Granite Vanity Top

A solution of 1/4 part vinegar and 3/4 parts water is excellent for general cleaning of your stone table top. Do not use abrasive or thick cream cleaning solutions. Common stains such as red wine or mustard should not remain on the stone top for an extended length of time. For additional protection, commercial sealers for marble are available.
