INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO

Lea las siguientes instrucciones antes de utilizar su nueva maquinilla Andis para cortar el pelo por primera vez. Trátela como se merece un instrumento delicado y de precisión, y le durará muchos años.

RETIRO DEL JUEGO DE CUCHILLAS

Para retirar el juego de cuchillas, asegúrese primero de que el motor de la maquinilla esté apagado. Empuje el mecanismo de liberación de las cuchillas debajo de la bisagra de las mismas (Figura J). Mientras sujeta el mecanismo, presione la cuchilla, luego tírela suavemente hacia adelante (Figura K), y deslícela hacia afuera de la bisagra. Si la bisagra

de la cuchilla se cierra firmemente y está a ras de la maquinilla, use un Figura J destornillador pequeño para hacer palanca en la lengüeta de la bisagra (Figura L).

NOTA: Es posible que se acumule pelo en la cavidad delantera de la caja debajo de la cuchilla. Si ello ocurre, elimine el pelo cepillando la cavidad con un cepillo pequeño o un cepillo de dientes viejo mientras la cuchilla se haya retirado de la maquinilla (ver la Figura M para ubicar la cavidad ante- dicha).

REEMPLAZO O CAMBIO DEL JUEGO DE CUCHILLAS

Para reemplazar o cambiar el juego de cuchillas, deslice el soporte de la cuchilla sobre la bisagra de la maquinilla (Figura N) y con la unidad encendida, empuje la cuchilla hacia la maquinilla para trabarla en su posición.

MANTENIMIENTO POR PARTE DEL USUARIO

El mecanismo interno del motor de su maquinilla para cortar el pelo ha sido lubricado de forma permanente en fábrica. No es necesario realizar ningún mantenimiento aparte del mantenimiento recomendado descrito en este manual, excepto por técnicos de mantenimiento de Andis Company o centros de servicio autorizados de Andis.

CUIDADO Y SERVICIO A LAS CUCHILLAS DE LA MAQUINILLA ANDIS PARA CORTAR EL PELO Las cuchillas deben ser lubricadas antes, durante y después de cada uso. Si la maquinilla deja mechones o reduce su velocidad es necesario lubricar las cuchillas. Ponga unas cuantas gotas de aceite en la parte delantera y lateral de las cuchillas (Figura O). Limpie el aceite que sobre en las cuchillas con un trapo seco y suave. Los lubricantes en spray no contienen suficiente aceite para dar una buena lubricación, pero son un excelente refrigerante para las cuchillas de la maquinilla. Siempre cambie las cuchillas rotas o en mal estado para evitar que causen lesiones. Puede limpiar

el pelo que quede en las cuchillas con un cepillo pequeño o con un cepillo de dientes viejo.
