Unpacking the printer

1Remove everything from the shipping box, but leave the ink cartridge in its package.

2Remove the tape and packing material from the inside and outside of the printer.

Save the carton a nd the packing material in case you ever need to ship the

printer. (See Appendix G, “Packing and Moving the Printer.”)

3Close the printer’s cover.
