6Run the 5XXX/6XXX Tester 1.1 to inspect the Cache/ROM DIMM. The Tester will identify a suspect Cache/ROM/ DIMM. Do not rely on visual inspection to identify a faulty Cache/ ROM DIMM. Go to step 7 if
you’re replacing the Cache/ROM DIMM,
otherwise go to step 23.
Note: The Tester can be found on the Service Source Companion 2 CD/ Utilities folder/System Utilities folder.
