For your safety and the safety of your equipment, follow the rules in this appendix for cleaning and handling your computer, as well as the guidelines for working more comfortably.

Cleaning Your Mac mini

Follow these general rules when cleaning the outside of your computer and its components:

ÂShut down your Mac mini and disconnect all cables.

ÂUse a damp, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the computer’s exterior. Avoid getting moisture in any openings. Do not spray liquid directly on the computer.

ÂDon’t use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.

Moving Your Mac mini

Before you lift or reposition your computer, you may need to turn it off and disconnect all cables and cords connected to it.
