Programming Steps and Display

The ETC can be programmed in four simple steps using the LCD display and the three keys on the face of the control.

Step 1 -

To start programming, press the SET key once to access the Fahrenheit/Celsius

mode. The display will show the current status, either F for degrees Fahrenheit or

C for degrees Celsius. Then press either the up or down arrow key to toggle

between the F or C designation

Step 2 -

Press the SET key again to access the setpoint. The LCD will display the current

setpoint and the S1 annunciator will be blinking on and off to indicate that the

control is in the setpoint mode. Then press either the up key to increase or the

down key to decrease the differential to the desired temperature.

Step 3 - Press the SET key again to access the differential. The LCD will display the current differential and the DIF1 annunciator will be blinking on and off to indicate that the control is in the differential mode. Then press either the up or the down

key to decrease the differential to the desired setting.

Step 4 - Press the SET key again to access the cooling or heating mode. The LCD will display the current mode, either C1 for cooling or H1 for heating. Then either press the up or down key to toggle between the C1 or H1 designation. Press the SET key once more and programming is complete.

Note: The ETC will automatically end programming if no keys are depressed for a period of thirty seconds. Any settings that have been input to the control will be accepted at that point.

The Aprilaire MCFB-2020, MFB-2920, MFB-0920, MFB-2030, and MFB-2020 are advanced air filtration solutions designed to enhance indoor air quality in residential and commercial spaces. These models incorporate cutting-edge technologies to effectively capture allergens, pollutants, and other contaminants, making them a vital component for maintaining a healthy environment.

One of the standout features of the Aprilaire filtration systems is their multi-layer filtration technology. Each model utilizes a robust MERV 13 filter, which can capture particles as small as 0.3 microns. This includes dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and even some bacteria and viruses. This high level of filtration efficiency ensures that the air circulated within a space is significantly cleaner, providing relief for allergy sufferers and promoting overall health.

In addition to their filtration capabilities, these models are designed for ease of use and maintenance. Many units come equipped with indicator lights that signal when it's time to replace the filter, ensuring that users are consistently operating at peak efficiency. The filters themselves are engineered for longer lifespan, allowing for extended periods between replacements and reducing overall maintenance costs.

The Aprilaire MFB series also features an innovative design that minimizes airflow resistance. This allows the HVAC system to operate more efficiently while maintaining strong air circulation throughout the home or office. By reducing strain on the system, these filters contribute to lower energy bills and enhanced longevity of HVAC equipment.

Another significant characteristic is the low noise operation of the MFB models. Designed with quiet functionality in mind, these air filters allow for clean air circulation without contributing to noise pollution, creating a comfortable atmosphere for occupants.

Moreover, the construction of these filters focuses on environmentally sustainable materials, minimizing their carbon footprint. This makes the Aprilaire MCFB and MFB series not only a wise choice for health but also for those looking to reduce their environmental impact.

In summary, the Aprilaire MCFB-2020, MFB-2920, MFB-0920, MFB-2030, and MFB-2020 offer exceptional features characterized by high-efficiency multi-layer filtration, user-friendly maintenance, energy-efficient operation, low noise levels, and environmentally sustainable construction. These characteristics make them essential tools for anyone seeking to improve indoor air quality while ensuring comfort and health in their living and working spaces.
