Ifyourapplianceissuppliedwitha 13 amp. fused plug it can be pluggedintoa13ampsocketfor immediate use. Before using the appliance please read the instructionbelow.

The following
operations should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Replacing the fuse:
Whenreplacingafaultyfuse,a13 amp ASTA approved fuse to BS 1362shouldalwaysbeused,and
Replacement fuse covers: If a replacement fuse cover is fitted, it must be of the correct colours as indicated by the colouredmarkingorthecolourthat isembossedinwordsonthebase oftheplug.Replacementscanbe obtaineddirectlyfromyournearest ServiceDepot.
Removing the plug:
If your appliance has a non- rewireablemouldedplugandyou
-theplugisreplacedbyafused13
-or:
-themainscableiswireddirectly intoa13ampcableoutlet, controlled by a switch, (in compliancewithBS5733)which isaccessiblewithoutmovingthe appliance.
Disposing of the plug: Ensurethatbeforedisposingofthe plug itself, you make the pins unusable so that it cannot be accidentallyinsertedintoasocket.
Instruction for connecting cable to an altenative plug:Important:thewiresinthemains lead are coloured in accordance withthefollowingcode:
Green&Yellow - Earth
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may not correspond with the coloured markings identifyingtheterminalinyourplug, proceedasfollows:
connect Green & Yellow wire to terminalmarked“E”or 
coloured GreenorGreen&Yellow.
Connect Brown wire to terminal marked“L”orcolouredRed.
Connect Blue wire to terminal marked“N”orcolouredBlack.
Ifa13ampplug(BS1363)isused itmustbefittedwitha13ampfuse. A15ampplugmustbeprotected bya15amp fuse,eitherintheplug or adaptor or at the distribution board.
