The following picture shows the proper cabling of an installed RAID card. It is recommended that the given RAID card installation specification and settings are followed for easier handling and maintenance.

PCI-X2 ~ X4 shared
PCI-X5 100MHz

• PCI-X2 ~ PCI-X4 BUS speeds vary depending on the number of PCI cards installed. One (1) PCI card plugged in any of PCI-X2~X4 slots will get a maximum speed of 133MHz, two (2) PCI cards installed will get a maximum speed of 100MHz and three (3) PCI cards will get maximum speed of 66MHz.
