2.3.4SATA Configuration
The SATA Configuration menu allows you to configure your storage devices. Select an item then press <Enter> to display the submenu.
OnChip SATA Channel [Enabled]
Enables or disables OnChip SATA Channel. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following two items only appear when you set OnChip SATA Channel to [Enabled].
SATA Port1 – Port4 [IDE]
Configures SATA 1/2/3/4. Configuration options: [IDE] [RAID] [AHCI]
SATA Port5 – Port6 [IDE]
Configures SATA 5/6. Configuration options: [IDE] [RAID] [AHCI]
• When SATA 1/2/3/4 are configured as [IDE], SATA 5/6 can only be configured as [IDE].
• When SATA 1/2/3/4/5/6 are configured as [AHCI], only SATA 1/2/3/4 can be detected under OS. Ensure to install the AHCI driver, so that you can use SATA 1/2/3/4/5/6 in AHCI mode under OS.
•When SATA 1/2/3/4 are configured as [AHCI] and SATA 5/6 are configured as [IDE], you can access the devices on SATA 5/6 before entering OS.
