4-8 Remote synchronisation

Remote synchronisation is when your phone is synchronised over a wireless connection instead of using a direct local connection to a PC. Synchronising remotely with your PC may depend on your network configuration. For example, you may need to set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection to your network.

To synchronise remotely, you need to set up a connection first and then configure your phone. For more information on remote synchronisation, see the ActiveSync Help on the PC.
