5.1Operating Systems

You should always use the latest operating system and updates when using new hardware to ensure full compliancy. For Windows 95, you must use OSR 2.0 or later. For Windows NT 4.0, you must use Service Pack 3.0 or later.

5.2 P3B-F Support CD

NOTE: The support CD contents are subject to change at any time without notice.

To begin using your support CD disc, just insert it into your CD-ROM drive and the support CD installation menu should appear. If the menu does not appear, double-click or run D:\SETUP.EXE (assuming that your CD-ROM drive is drive D:).

5.2.1 Installation Menu

•Intel LDCM Administrator Setup:Installs software to monitor PC systems on the net- work within the same bridge address with the Client software installed. The administrator should install both Client and Administrator Software.

•Intel LDCM Client Setup:Installs software to monitor PC systems on the local system. The LANDesk Client Manager must be installed in order to use the hardware manager features.

•Install ASUS PC Probe Vx.xx: Installs a simple utility to monitor your computer’s fan, temperature, and voltages.

•Install ASUS Update Vx.xx:Installs a program to help you update your BIOS or down- load a BIOS image file.
