Compatible Cyrix CPU Identification

The only Cyrix CPU that is supported on this motherboard is labeled Cyrix 6x86 P166+ but must be Revision 2.7 and later. Look on the underside of the CPU for the serial number. The number should read G8DC6620A or larger.

8.Voltage Regulator Output Selection (VID0, 1, 2)

These jumpers set the voltage supplied to the CPU. Current Intel CPU's marked "Pentium" has only a Single Power Plane and uses the standard 3.38 volts (STD) or 3.5 volts (VRE). Currently Intel’s new Pentium P55C MMX 200MHz with Dual Power Planes is supported at 2.8Volts. The voltage regulators will automati- cally detect and switch between Single Power Plane and Dual Power Planes.
