Chapter 3 - Software Configuration

Client Mode

This menu page enables you to connect to the AP using a wireless connection and has the following options:

Become an AP if no AP can be connected?

Click Yes to enable the ASUS Wireless "WL-HDD" to be an Access Point in a wireless network, if no other AP is detected.

Client Mode

Select Disabled if you do not want to connect to other APs in the network. Select Connect to AP in profiles to enable the device to connect to the APs specified in the Profile List.

Preferred AP

Scroll through this drop-down box to specify which AP (from the Profile List) should be given preference when connecting to other APs.
