Z97M-PLUS SATA 6.0Gb/s connectors

These connectors are set to [AHCI] by default. If you intend to create a Serial ATA RAID set using these connectors, set the SATA Mode Selection item in the BIOS to

[RAID]. Refer to section 3.6.3 PCH Storage Configuration for details.

Before creating a RAID set, refer to section 5.1 RAID configurations or the manual bundled in the motherboard support DVD.

When using hot-plug and NCQ, set the type of the SATA connectors in the BIOS to

[AHCI]. See section 3.6.3 PCH Storage Configuration for details.

M.2 Socket 3 shares the bandwidth with SATA ports 5 and 6. To ensure that the M.2 PCIe device is working properly, SATA ports 5 and 6 are disabled. See section 3.6.3 PCH Storage Configuration of this user guide for more details.
