INSTALLATION
WALL INSTALLATION
1.Reverse the handset tab.
When mounting the telephone on a wall, you must reverse the handset tab. This tab holds the handset when you hang up. Hold down the switchhook, and slide the tab up and out of its slot (Figure 1). Turn the tab so that the end with the “hook” is up (Figure 2). Then insert the tab back into its slot (Figure 3).

2.Fill in directory card
The enclosed directory card has an adhesive backing which lets you place it in a convenient location near the telephone. Write in your own telephone number and up to nine other numbers you want to remember on the directory card.
3.Plug the line cord into the jack on the underside of the base
Feed the short line cord into the channel. Feed the last portion (as short as possible), through one of the slots in the mounting area.
4.Install telephone base on wall jack
Hold the base up next to the wall jack and plug in the line cord. Then push the base against the wall jack and down until it is held securely by the mounting studs.
