APPLICATION
The night vision biocular is a comp lex opticoelectronic sys tem for individual use. The device
consists o f the o bjective lens, eyep iece and body. The body contains an intensi fier tube
assembly with an int egrated high volt age power source and t wo three-volt bat tery housing.
When installing the batteries one shoul d keep in mind that the pol arity of the batter ies must
coincide with the diagram on the body next to the battery housing cap.
The objective l ens protecti ve cover is desig ned to protect the objecti ve lens from dus t and
scratches. It also acts as a daylight filter allowing you to test the biocular in the daylight or other
the operation ability of the device under the daylight conditions.
NOTE:
Do not test th e scope und er the daylig ht conditio ns even with t he daylight fi lter/lens
capon for more than ten (10) minutes.
SMART DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
Smart Total Darkness Technology final ly provides the user
total control in the hi-tech industry of night vision. The Smart
Series night vision monoculars have been designed with the
latest compu ter technol ogy. On boar d computer systems
identify the us ers intention of lo oking through the oculars.
When the ocular is brought to the users eyes, th e monocu-
lar will automatically turn on. Whe n removed from the eyes
the monocular will turn off ( you must eng age the proximity
sensor for this feature to work) . The user will never have to
worry about t urning his or her monocul ar on or off. S mart
series monocular au tomatically sens e when it is no longer
being used, and will shut off and enter their sleep mode. All
the controls an d buttons are d igital. Even if your batteries
are low, don’t worry the smart series will let you know.
To use the smart sensor of the Night Shadow and save the
life of the scope as well as your batteries, press both the “SL” key and the “+” key. The Voyager
will now turn off when you move away from the scope. It will turn back on when you move back
to the scope.
1. ON/OFF indicator light - when power is ON, the LED will be green.
2. When the proximity sensor is activated the LED changes to red.
3. When IR is ON the LED is orange.
