INFRA-RED ILLUMINATOR
The infra-red illuminators, or IR illu minators, are common to night visi on. The IR light greatly
enhances the performance of the Night Shadow while remaining almos t totally invi sible to
the naked eye. The IR illuminator on the Night Shadow is
located on the side of the unit.
To turn the IR on push the IR button and you will see the
orange indicator light com e on. It is important to remem-
ber tha t the IR illuminat or is simpl y an infra-r ed li ght
source, and like any light source it may loose its effective-
ness over a great distance.
Remember: If you tw ist and pull the IR you wi ll increase
the distance while decreasing the angle and vice versa.
NOTE:
The IR will automatically turn off when the unit’s main power is turned off.
