2. TERMS FOR DISCS
TITLE
The images or music contained on a CD are divided into units. “Title” is the largest unit. Each Title is numbered so it is possible to search a disc by Title.
CHAPTER
A Title is composed of several smaller units called “Chapters”. Each Chapter is assigned a number so it is possible to search a disc by Chapter.
NOTE: Some discs may not have numbered chapters.
TRACK
Audio discs are divided into units called “Tracks”. Each Track is assigned a number for searching.
