Function Select Button

Pressingthis button will sequentially allow selection of the channel

numberor Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System. Pressingthe

button once from the standby mode, will allow setting of the

channel number. This will be indicated by the slow flashing of

thechannel number display. Pressing the button a second time

within5 seconds will allow setting of the CTCSS code. This will

be indicated by the slow flashing of the code number. If no

buttonsare pressed for 5 seconds, the unit will return to standby

modeand the display will indicate the current channel. Pressing

theFunction Select button a third time or pressing the P (Push to

Talk)or monitor buttons will also return to the standby mode.

To Select a Channel

Press and release the function

select button until the channel

numberflashes on the display. Use

the up and down buttons to select

the desired channel from 1 to 14.

Thecurrent channel setting will be

shownon the display. Function
