NOTE: The DWorks Administration Utility can also be used to selectively disable these PCI devices. Both the physical jumper and the FLASH setting must be enabled in order for a PCI device to be enabled.
NOTE: The DWorks Administration Utility is required to access the FLASH contents. Local FLASH write enable refers to running the DWorks Administration Utility on the Digital Desktop System being configured. Remote FLASH write enable refers to configuration of a PCI Add In Card or Desktop Appliance using the PCI device’s Ethernet address over a switched network.
3.If you purchased the RPC option for your Digital Desktop System, please refer to the instruc- tions provided with the cable specific to your computer. Figure 2.4 identifies the jumpers used to select the appropriate auxiliary power setting. The factory default setting is for use of +3.3 V auxiliary power. One of the listed auxiliary power sources must be available in order to use the RPC option.
