L'injecteur PoE d'extérieur AXIS T8123-E/T8124-E 802.3at à un port Gigabit transporte le courant électrique en plus des données en utilisant le câblage Ethernet. Il assure le respect des normes IEEE802.3at et IEEE802.3af. Ces niveaux de puissance permettent une utilisation par une nouvelle gamme d'applications basées sur Ethernet telles que les visiophones, les Points d'Accès 802.11n, les Transmetteurs WiMAX, les caméras PTZ et plus encore. Le port DATA PWR OUT de l'AXIS T8123-E/ T8124-E a été conçu pour transporter des données Ethernet Gigabit et de la puissance par un câble standard CAT5e, fournis par 4-paires (Alt A : fiches 1,2(-) / 3,6(+) et Alt B : fiches 4,5(+) / 7,8(-)).
