
Easy Start Guide
Installation To install HL108E HomePlug AV Utility:
1. Insert the Resource CD that comes with HomePlug AV into the CD-ROM drive.
2. If the installer does not launch automatically, select Start > Run, enter
D:\Setup.exe (where D: is your CD-ROM drive), and then click OK.
3. Follow the instructions on the Utility.
Two applications will be installed in your computer - HL108E HomePlug AV Utility
will be installed first followed by .NET Framework. The installer detects any
version of .NET Framework in your computer. If .NET Framework is not installed, a
dialog box opens to ask if you would like to install .NET Framework 1.1. Click Yes.
The .NET Framework will not be installed if a version is already in your computer.

Notes:
- When you configure local and remote HomePlug AVs, it is recommended to keep a
list of your HomePlug AV Device ID’s. This is printed at the back of the device.
- In case you cannot connect into the network or Internet, you may have to power
cycle the device. To power cycle, disconnect and reconnect HomePlug AV from the
power outlet.
Opening HL108E HomePlug AV Utility To open HL108E HomePlug AV Utility:
Right-click HL108E HomePlug AV Utility desktop shortcut and then select Open.
Or, select Start > All Programs > Aztech HomePlug > HL108E HomePlug AV >
Aztech Hl108E Utility.
