5.6.2 Displaying and Programming addresses
Displaying the Projector Address on the Screen.
1. Press Address key (recessed key on the RCU) with a pencil.
The projector’s address will be displayed in a ’Textbox’
To continue using the RCU with that specific address, it is necessary to enter the same address with the
digitbuttons (add ress between 0 and 9) within 5 seconds after pushing the address key. For example : if the
Addresskey displays projector address 003, th en press "3" digit button on the RCU to set the RCU’sad dress
to match the projector’s address. Do not press 003 digits. This will address th e remote control to ’0’ and
controlall projectors in the room. Ifthe address is not entered within 5 seconds, the RCU returns to its default
address (zero address) and control all projectors in the room.
How to Program an Address into the RCU?
1. Press the Address key (recessed key on the RCU) with a pencil.
2. Enter the address with the digit buttons within 5 seconds after pushing the address key.
Note: That address can be any digit between 0 and 9.
5.7 Controllingthe Projector
Input Selection
Keyin the corresponding slot number with the digit keys on the RCU. The selected source will be displayed.
Picture Controls
Whenan image control is pressed, a text box with a bar scale, icon and function name of the control, e.g. ’brightness...’appears on
thescreen (only if text is ON). See example screen. Thelength of the bar scale and the value of the numeric indication indicate the
currentm emorized setting for this source. The bar scale changes as the control stick on the RCU is pressed or the + or - buttons
on the local keypad.
Brightness Acorrect ’brightness’ setting isimportant for good image reproduction.
Use the + button for a higher brightness.
Use the - button for a lower brightness.
Contrast Acorrect ’contrast’ setting is important for good image reproduction. Adjust the contrast to the level
you prefer,according to room lighting conditions.
Use the + button for a higher contrast.
Use the - button for lower contrast.
Color Colorsaturation is only active for Video and S-Video. Adjustthe color intensity of the picture.
Use the + button for richer colors.
Use the - button for lighter colors.
Tint Tint is only active for Videoand S-Video when using the NTSC 4.43 or NTSC 3.58 system.

Sharpness no sharpness available
Phase Use the arrow buttons to adjust thephase.
The Pause Key
Whenthe Pause key is pressed, the image projection is stopped, a black screen will be displayed and th e projector remains with full
powerfor immediate restart. Thesound isnot interrupted. Thedisplay on front of the projector will show a "P".
Torestart the image :
•PressPause key.
•PressEXIT key
Select a source number.
