Using the TuneBase FM Transmit ter

The TuneBase FM transmitter func tion automatica lly turns on when the

iPod mini is connected and c ar power is availa ble. It automatic ally turns

off when the iPod mini is re moved or car powe r becomes unavai lable.

1. Tune your car stereo fre quency to a chan nel with a weak b roadcast

signal. The ideal channel is one that is not b roadcasting a ra dio

program, or is doing so weak ly.

2. Press th e ▲ or ▼ button on the TuneBase FM to s elect the

transmission frequency cho sen in step 1, in you r car, for broadcas t.

Press and hold either butto n for fast-for ward or backwar d tuning.

3. To memor ize a specifi c frequency ( four stations m aximum) for

easy selection:

(a) select desired frequency using up and d own arrows;

(b) press and hold the desired pr eset button for 2 seconds ; the

first digit of the dis play will indi cate the chos en memory

spot; and

4 memory slots and ret rieve the memo rized frequ ency.

4. Adjust the volume of yo ur FM radio to the d esired listening level.
