•Unscrewthetipcollarandremovethespray

nozzleandspraytip.Cleanallpartswiththe

cleaningbrushintheappropriatecleaning

solution(figure O).

•Ifusing waterbasedmaterial,cleanthe

sprayerbyrunningwaterthroughpickuptube

inletasshowninfigure P.Ifusingoilbased

materials,cleanpickuptubeinletwiththe

appropriatecleaningsolution.Repeatuntil

sprayeriscompletelyclean.

•Dryallpartsthroughly.

•Properlydisposeofcleaningsolution.

•Placeadropofhouseholdoilontothemetal

ballinthecheckvalve(figure Q).

IMPORTANT:Lubricating the ball in check valve,after cleanup, will help to preventit from sticking which can

clogthe valve and prevent adequateflow of spray material.

NOTE: Whenreassembling,placemetalballendofcheckvalveintosprayer.

•Reassemblesprayer(figure R).NOTE: The spray tip can onlygo in one way. The notch on the spray tip,

shownin figure S must align with the recess in the threads of the sprayer.

Useonly mild soap and dampcloth to clean the power unit.Never let any liquid getinside the power unit; never

immerseany part of the powerunit into a liquid.

IMPORTANT:Toassureproduct SAFETYand RELIABILITY,repairs, maintenanceand adjustment(otherthan those

listedin this manual)should be performedby authorized servicecenters or otherqualified service organizations,always

usingidentical replacementparts.

Thepowerunitcontainsawashable/reuseablefilter

(figureT). Check the filter beforeandaftereachuse.If

dirty,wash with warm water and allow to air dry before

re-installingorreplaceifnecessary.

•To check the filter, remove the filter cover by pressing

inonthesidesofthefiltercoverandpullingthecover

offthe power unit. Remove the filter as shown in

figureT and inspect.Replacefilterandfiltercover.

Neveroperatethepowerunitwithoutthefilterinplace.

Debriscouldbesuckedinandinterferewiththe

functionofthepowerunit.

Makesure unit is clean and dry before storing. Store unitindoorsin a dry location. Topreventdamage, wrap the

electricalcord so that it is not crimped during storage.
