Black & Decker batteries can be recharged many times. If you want to dispose of the product yourself, the battery must be removed as described below and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Warning!

uDisconnect the appliance from the power supply before removing the battery.

uDo not short-circuit the battery terminals.

uDo not dispose of the battery in fire as this may result in an explosion.

uPreferably discharge the battery by operating the appliance until the motor stops.

uRemove the power head (8).

uRemove the screws (25) from the bottom (fig. I).

uRemove the screws (26) from the side.

uOpen the housing.

uRemove both sides of the housing (27).

uRemove the battery cover (28) (fig. J).

uPull the battery out of the appliance.

uPull off the terminal clips (29).

uPlace the battery in suitable packaging to ensure that the terminals cannot be short-circuited.

uTake the battery to your service agent or a local recycling station. Collected batteries will be recycled or disposed of properly.
