IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
■Read all instructions.
■To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse mixer, cord, plug, or base unit in water or other liquid.
■Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
■Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
■Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and handheld spatulas and other utensils away from beaters/whisks during operation to prevent injury and/or damage to the mixer.
■Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment.
■The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
■Do not use outdoors.
■Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
■Remove beaters/whisks and spatula attachment from mixer before washing.
■Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
