•PlaceyourBODUM® Picnic Gas BBQ on a secure base before using it. the gas grill must never be positioned on an
inclineortilted!
•Warning!Neverusespirit,petrolorsimilarliquidstolightorrelight!OnlyusefirelighterscomplyingwithEN1860-3!
•Childrenandpetsarenotallowedtostayunattendednear ahotgrill.
•Grillandflammablematerialsshouldbekeptatleast1.5 mawayfromeachother.
•Donotplacethegrillonaflammablesurfaceor onglass.
•Neverstoreanyspareoropengascanistersunderneathor incloseproximitytothegrill.
•Incorrectassemblycanresultindanger.Always keeptheassemblyinstructionsprovidedin theseinstructionsclose
at hand.
•AfterthepicnicgasBBQhas beeninstorageorout ofuseforanextendedperiod alwayscheckforgasleaks and
blockages of the burner (9) prior to use. you can find the instructions for this under “Checking for a gas leak”
•Donotwearclotheswithlong,widesleeveswhenyou aregrilling.
•Iftheflameattheburner(9)shouldextinguishduring use,switchtheregulator(8)toOFFandopenthe lid.
•Neverusecharcoal,briquettesorlavastonesinyourpicnic gasBBQ.
•Iffatstartstoburn,switchtheregulator(8)to OFFandwaituntilthefirehasextinguished.
•Tomovethegrill,liftit bythehandle(1)andposition itatthedesiredlocation.Never trytomovethegrillwhen
itishot!Waituntilthegrillhascooleddown beforemovingorliftingit.
•TheBODUM® Picnic Gas BBQ must not be used as a heater.
•TheBODUM® Picnic Gas BBQ is not intended for installation or use in caravans, campers or on boats.
•Whencleaningtheregulator(8)ortheburner(9)ensure thatthenozzlesandconnectionsarenotdamaged.
•Butane/propanearenotcrudegas.Anymodificationofthegrillforusewithcrudegasandanyattempttousethis
butane/propane grill with crude gas is dangerous and will result in the warranty being voided.
•Adentedorrustygascanistercanbehazardousandshouldbecheckedbyyourgassupplier.Neverusegascanisters
with a damaged valve.
•Gasmaystillbepresentinsidegascanistersthatappearcompletelyempty.Gascanisters aretobetransportedand
stored with this in mind.
•Never,underanycircumstances,attempttodetachthe regulator(8)oranyotherpartsofthe gaslinewhenusing
the grill.
•Whengrillingalwaysremovethelidtotheside- neverliftupandoff-otherwisesuctionmaybe generated.
•Onlyusetheregulator(8)suppliedtogetherwiththepicnic gasBBQ.
•Donotgrillwhenitiswindy.
•Outdooruseonly.
•CAUTION: the gas canister must never be used above head height.
•Usedisposable70%butane/30%propanecanisterswithaminimumfullweightof430gandamaximumfullweight
of 460 g. the canisters must be fitted with a valve with thread complying with En417.
•Neversearchforagasleakwiththeaidofanakedflame.Priortohuntingforaleak,ensurethatnosparksornaked
flames are close by. Sparks and flames may trigger an explosion, which could cause severe or even fatal injuries and
lead to material damage.
•Onlytightenthecanister connectionbyhand. Theuseofexcessive forcecoulddamagethe regulatorconnection
and the canister valve.

•Removethelidwhenlightingandkeepthegrilluncovered asitstartstoburn.
•Nevertouchthegrillorgratetodeterminewhetherit ishot.
•Alwayswearbarbecuingmittsoruseanovenclothwhen grillinginordertoprotectyourhands.
•Usegrillutensilswithlong,heat-resistanthandles.
•Pleasekeepelectriccablesawayfromhotsurfaces.
•Donotlineyourgrillwithaluminumfoilasthis canhindertheflowofair.
•Donotusesharpobjectsandabrasivecleanerstocleanthegrillinggrateandgrillasthesemaydamagethesurface.
