HOW TO INSERT THE BATTERY
1.Turn the battery compartment cover counterclockwise and pull it out. (Illustration 1)
2.Insert an LR6 (AA alkaline) dry battery into
the battery compartment 
in the correct direction. (Illustration 2)

* Be sure to use only AA alkaline batteries.
3.Set the aligning marks in line, push the battery compartment cover, and turn it clockwise until it clicks. (Illustration 1)
Battery Life
A new AA alkaline battery powers the trimmer for approximately 9 months, if used once a week for 2 minutes each use.
