Mettez l’outil en marche avant de le poser sur la pièce. De même, soulevez-le avant d’en relâcher l’interrupteur. Pour prolonger la durée de l’interrupteur, évitez de le mettre sous tension et hors tension pendant que l’outil est à l’oeuvre.

PROTÈGE-MAINS

Le protège-mains protège les mains durant la coupe tout en dirigeant le matériau vers le bas et à l’écart de l’opérateur. Le protège-mains doit être utilisé constamment lorsque cette cisaille est en marche.

Conseils pratiques

Avant de couper, huilez légèrement la ligne de coupe.

Tenez l’outil entre 80° et 90° par rapport à la surface de la tôle (Fig. 2).
